Description | This projects involves window replacements at Hagerstown District Courthouse/Multi-Service Center All Minority Business Enterprise are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. This solicitation is for Small Business Reserved only Small Business Reserve Designation Yes The Project Cost Classification for this solicitation is: Small Procurement Category III, under $100,000 Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this Solicitation The following bonds are required if the Contract Amount, including Unit Prices, Allowances and Alternates as applicable, is in excess of $100,000.00 1) Bid Bond in the amount of 5% 2) Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% The work shall be completed within 120 calendar days from the start date of the contract. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquated damages of $250.00 per calendar day as specified in the "General Conditions". The deadline for questions has been established as 7/29/2022_ at _2:00pm_, to assure that there is enough time to allow the A/E to provide responses and Addendum issuance if necessary. Please submit all questions to the Procurement Officer: James Alston - james.alston1@maryland.gov and Supervisor Christine Stenhouse - christine.stenhouse1@maryland.gov. A. All work shall be performed with minimum disruption to the facility operations. B. The Contractor shall maintain accessibility for employee/public traffic to the facility throughout the duration of the project. C. The Contractor shall provide and install barricades, signs, etc. necessary to ensure public safety at all areas during construction operations as approved by the Using Agency Maintenance Supervisor or designee. D. During the project, the Contractor shall maintain the work site in a safe, neat, and orderly manners. E. The Contractor shall take steps to prevent accumulation of debris at the site and shall remove all spoils and unused material from the site. Disposal of all materials shall be the responsibility of the contractor and in accordance with all applicable laws, codes, and regulations. Detailed Scope of Work: Work associated with the glass replacement of the existing thirty (30) windows in total and recaulking the existing windows task, as described below. Contractor will be responsible to confirm the exact number of windows, prior to providing DGS with his/her bid. This work shall include but not be limited to the following: Contractor to supply all labor and materials to A. Replace the existing glass panels in all (30) insulated glass windows (in kind) and, B. All windows caulking (in kind), including disposal of old glass and trash, as specified. |
