Description | The estimated budget for this public art piece is $60,000 to $100,000. Murray City is seeking proposals for a piece of outdoor public art at the new Murray Civic Center in Murray, Utah. $60,000 to $100,000 is designated for the art piece. Interested artists must have demonstrated experience in large scale public art installations. The City requests a letter of interest, qualifications, and photographs of previous public art pieces from both local and national artists that work in a variety of media and who are interested in participating in an open competition for a unique work outdoor piece of public art. Murray City is building a new Civic Center in the heart of its downtown. The building is scheduled to open in January 2023. The art piece must be installed prior to the opening of the facility. Selected Artist is required to work with building contractor to coordinate installation prior to opening. Project time frame. Murray City desires the project to be completed and installed no later than January 6, 2023. The proposals shall be signed by a representative or officer authorized to bind the offer. Individuals of the offering organization authorized to negotiate a contract based on the proposal shall be identified by name, title, address, and telephone number Murray City Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any part of any bid, to waive any informalities in any bid as its best interest appear. All questions must be directed in writing through Sciquest Question and Answer Board. Questions must be received by Thursday, June 23, 2022, at 5:00 PM MT. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
