| Description | The work generally consists of furnishing and installing wrought iron fencing and gates but is not limited to: Protecting in place any existing structures; Removal and disposal of any existing fencing; Painting all new wrought iron fence and gate with 1 coat of rust prevention primer and 2 coats of semi-gloss enamel paint (color to be determined). At Fire Stations 75 and 79, construct a 10’ high wrought iron fence. Fence shall be 10’ above existing parking lot finish grade. At Fire Station 75 construct a 12’ wide by 10’ high wrought iron rolling vehicle gate to replace the existing 12’ wide by 5’ high rolling vehicle gate. Existing appurtenances shall be replaced to accommodate the gates increased height. Construct 4’ wide by 10’ high wrought iron gate, with keyed dead bolt. At Fire Station 79 construct a 20’ wide by 10’ high wrought iron rolling vehicle gate to replace the existing 12’ wide by 5’ high rolling vehicle gate. Existing appurtenances shall be replaced to accommodate the gates increased height. |
