| Description | The Division of Facilities Development, hereinafter termed DFD, hereby announces that it is advertising for bids from certified contractors for the above project. In general the work consists of: the replacement of the insulation and membrane roofing on the 2,000 square foot penthouse Roof 1 in its entirety on a 16 story building. The scope includes replacement of the aluminum roof edge, metal access ladder, treated wood access platforms and stairs, lighting protection system (designed by licensed specialist), as well as repainting of the existing steel equipment dunnage and curb elements. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsins prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not1 affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. |
