Description | This is a one-time switch gear service requirement (that is to be completed every 3 years for preventative maintenance). Contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, labor, supervision, transportation, project management, and materials to do the one-time annual preventive maintenance, inspection, and testing on all circuit breakers. Â SCOPE OF WORK Switch Gear Clean, inspect, test and adjust all major electrical distribution equipment. This shall include the electrical distribution equipment in the following locations: 1. Sub-Stations: No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 & No. 4. 2. Building No. 19 and ARF. 3. Room BF-118. 4. Boiler/Chiller Plant. 5. Mechanical/Electrical Rooms: Building 19 Mechanical Rooms (3) total, 3rd floor Fan Room, 3rd Floor Mechanical Room, 5th Floor Mechanical Room, 6 Floor Mechanical Room, 8th Floor Mechanical Room, 8th Floor Mechanical Room North, and Generator Rooms (5) total. Repair as needed all open/close indicators and charged/discharged indicators in sub-station 3 type AK breakers. Execute work to interfere as little as possible with normal functioning of the medical center. Schedule all work in specific areas with the Resident Engineer to enable Engineering Service to make any necessary arrangements. Coordinate with the Resident Engineer in advance of any outages. Only after the approval of the schedule outages, by the Resident Engineer, work can proceed accordingly. All outages shall be scheduled and approved in writing at least two weeks in advance. Outages will be scheduled only at night and on weekends. |
