Description

Provide Construction Manager/General Contractor services for assisting the City and the City’s contracted Engineer (Hansen, Allen & Luce) with detailed design and construction of the Zone 11 West Pressurized Irrigation System (Project) improvements. The Project consists of irrigation transmission pipelines, a booster pump station, and storage tank and includes the following facilities. 1. Zone 11 West Storage Tank: A 10 ac-ft (3.26 million gallon) storage tank is to be located in the area of the existing Zone 11 West drinking water storage tank. The tank is to be conventional cast-in-place reinforced concrete, or a post tensioned (AWWA D115), or a prestressed (AWWA D110) type tank with an open top. 2. 24-Inch Transmission Pipeline 1: Approximately 5,700-feet of 24-inch PVC C900 DR18 pipeline is to connect to the existing 24-inch pipeline near the intersection of 14400 South (Utah County Coordinates) and 600 West (Santaquin City Coordinates) and extend west, crossing the UPRR tracks through an existing casing and connecting to the existing 24-inch pressurized irrigation pipeline near to Summit Ridge Parkway and Flagstone Drive. 3. 24-inch Transmission Pipeline 2: Approximately 1,200-feet of 24-inch PVC C900 DR18 pipeline to connect the existing pressurized irrigation in the Summit Ridge, Stone Hollow area with the suction side of the pump station. 4. Zone 11 West Pump Station: The pump station will be located near the intersection of Mountain View Drive and Summit Trails where it will connect to the new 24-inch Transmission Pipeline 2 (suction) and new 16-inch Transmission Pipeline 1 (discharge). The pump station is to have a capacity of 3,000 GPM. The pump station will include space for future drinking water pumps and piping. 5. 16-inch Transmission Pipeline 1: Approximately 4,700-feet of 16-inch PVC C900 DR18 pipeline is to connect the Zone 11 West Pump Station to the Zone 11 West Storage. 6. 16-inch Transmission Pipeline 2: Another 3,050-feet of 16-inch PVC C900 DR18 pipeline is to extend from the Zone 11 West Tank to connect to the existing pressurized irrigation system near the intersection of Vista Ridge Road and Sageberry Drive.
