| Description | Enhance/reestablish the Rockingham Rail Trail from Mammoth Road to Lake Shore Road (approximately 2 miles) with a stone dust wearing surface. Pedestrian crossings will be formalized at Mammoth Road, Page Street, I-93 Exit 6 connector ramps (NB/SB), Candia Road, and Lake Shore Road, and connections to neighboring streets will be established. An alternative that may be included is paving the trail from Mammoth Road to Page Street and eliminating the stone dust wearing surface. The work will require, but not limited to: 1. Trail construction and resurfacing (granular and/or paved surface) 2. Installation of ADA compliant sidewalks, ramps and tactile panels. 3. Drainage improvements 4. Erosion control 5. Pavement markings 6. Turf establishment 7. Installation/relocation of signs and wayfinding 8. Installation of Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacons (RRFB) 9. Installation of street lighting 10. Installation of fence, gates, bollards, and other appurtenances. |
