Description | The City of Hillsboro ("City") seeks written proposals from Design-Build teams that have recent experience in the design, development, and construction of fire stations to provide Design-Build services for the South Hillsboro Fire Station project ("SoHi" or the "Project"). The City of Hillsboro plans to build a new three-engine company Fire Station for the Hillsboro Fire Department ("HFD"). The new facility will provide fire protection, emergency services, and rapid response capabilities directly to South Hillsboro and its environs, eliminating the need to cross Tualatin Valley Highway No. 29 (TV Highway). The SoHi Fire Station will be located at the intersection of SE Butternut Creek Parkway and SE Deline Street in South Hillsboro. The location of the proposed fire station is based on access needs and existing and proposed street and utility locations/extensions, as well as surrounding area considerations. The design and construction budget for the SoHi Fire Station project is currently estimated to be $10 million - $12 million. This budget includes all design and construction costs including materials and labor costs, escalation, the D-B fee, general condition costs, reimbursable expenses, payment and performance bonds, insurance, permit and plan check fees and D-B contingency and allowances. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. |
