Rensselaer County Emergency Services Training Complex Project

General Construction Mechanical Plumbing Electrical Contract No. 1 – General Construction: Includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the clearing and grubbing of the Site, installation and maintenance of erosion and sediment controls; excavation for and construction of the reinforced concrete foundations systems and wood framed construction for the Emergency Operations Center & Classroom Building (E.E.O.C. Building), reinforced concrete piers and wood framed Search and Rescue Building, reinforced concrete foundations systems for a Pre-Engineered Fire Training Tower (not included in General Contract No. 1), and reinforced concrete foundation for an existing Metal Carport (relocation and installation by others, not included in General Contract No.1). This Contract additionally includes the construction of all site improvements including asphalt and concrete pavements, sidewalks, curbs, potable water service, sanitary sewer system, stormwater management systems, two dry hydrant systems, segmental block retaining walls, fencing, and appurtenant landscaping and site restoration. This project includes the work shown on the Plans, and described in these Specifications consisting of General Construction. Contract No. 2 – Mechanical Construction: Includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of work shown on the Plans and described in these Specifications. The work shall include, but is not limited to, variable volume air handling units remote air-cooled condensing units, variable air volume boxes with hydronic reheat coils, ductwork distribution system, hydronic boiler system, unit ventilators, general exhaust, building mechanical system BACnet controls, and other related items. Contract No. 3 – Plumbing Construction: Includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of work shown on the Plans and described in these Specifications. The work shall include, but is not limited to, domestic water entrance with backflow preventer, domestic hot water heater, distribution system, plumbing fixtures, natural gas service and distribution, sanitary sewer and vent piping, related earthwork and other related items. Contract No. 4 – Electrical Construction: Includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the Electrical, site lighting, interior and exterior lighting, fire alarm system, generator installation, installation of a new service, power for various equipment, and installation of a rotary phase converter.
