Description | *As of July 25, 2022. The Project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Project no-0800 This project is federally funded by EPA GRANT#00T82701 and will require contractor to comply with the Federal Provisions in Part 6 of these specifications. Work to be completed consists of site work and temporary pier foundations for a prefabricated modular equipment enclosure. The 10 x 20 enclosure will be used to contain equipment owned by the County of San Diego. The enclosure will be a commercial modular that shall have a factory-built insignia issued by the State of California. It will be under a separate Commercial Coach permit issued by the City of San Diego. It will also include minor site grading, corner piers, chain-link fencing, and relocation of existing electrical meter. The project will be located on a leased portion of the City of San Diegos Fire Station 29 site parcel at 198 W. San Ysidro Blvd., San Diego, CA 92173. The County's estimate for this public work project is in the range from $200,000 to $280,000. Contract shall not exceed (60) sixty working days in duration. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractors License, Classification (B) General Building Contractor. The Contractor is solely responsible for due diligence in identifying and avoiding all potential conflicts of interest related to contracting for, and construction of, this project.
