Fairway Hollow: In Mancelona Township, beginning at Pineview Dr thence around loop, approximately 5,400’. Project description: Pave scratch and wedge course over existing 20’ wide pavement @ 110 lbs/syd (est. 660 tons) using 4E1 and then overlay @ 165 lbs/syd (est. 990 tons) using 5E1. Lake Street: In Mancelona Township, beginning at Palmer Park Rd thence south to rail roadtracks at US 131. Project description: Trench both sides of existing pavement 6” deep and 4’wide, remove trenched material. Contractor may either add 1000 tons of 22A aggregate on topof 16’ wide existing pavement and then crush & shape grade to full width of trench limits or crush & shape existing pavement then add 1000 tons of 22A aggregate and blend into crushed base with pulvizer. Either option shall result in a uniform blend of added aggregate and crushed pavement shaped and compacted to the limits of the trench which shall be 24’ wide. Pave 22’ wide using 5E1 HMA @ 220 lbs/syd (est. 417 tons). Shoulder aggregate and restoration shall be completed by ACRC after paving is complete. Contractor shall be responsible for contacting Great Lakes Central Railroad for coordination of work near tracks. All mix shall contain PG 58 -28 liquid asphalt that complies with the enclosed Antrim County Road Commission Special Provision for Acceptance of HMA Mixture on Non-Federal Aid Projects 02/09/18. All traffic control shall be in accordance with the current MMUTCD part 6. All other bid items shall comply with the 2012 MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction sections specific to those bid items only.
