Description

1. Remove organics layer, riprap, and trees within the liner extents. 2. Remove 2 feet of cover for stockpile and later use. 3. Compact subgrade. 4. Install geosynthetic clay liner. 5. Backfill anchor trench, place 2 feet of cover over the liner. 6. Reuse or replace culverts. 7. Revegetate disturbed areas. 8. The following work will generally be required to be conducted by the Contractor. a. Clearing, stripping, and grubbing all excavation and fill areas, borrow areas, and other miscellaneous construction as outlined in the Drawings and Specifications. b. Supply and place riprap and non-woven geotextile downstream of culverts as shown on the Drawings. Salvaged riprap is not guaranteed to meet the quality and quantity shown in the Drawings and Specifications. c. Quality Control Testing of all onsite earthwork and concrete materials placed.
