Fire Station Alerting (FSA) System

Provide a fire station alerting system utilizing the latest features and technologies as outlined in the technical specifications. The City is seeking a comprehensive system that alerts nine (9) fire stations with unit tones, triggers for light relays, and dispatch voice audio over PA. The City aims to implement station alerting over the City provided IP based backhaul (VOIP) connectivity and radio communications systems (RF). The new FSA system shall be compatible with the current JVCKenwood / EFJohnson ATLAS P25 system and the current NEXGEN CAD system. The new FSA system shall also utilize the existing light relays and PA systems at the fire stations. This project shall include system design, configuration and installation at the dispatch site and each fire station, preferably by a single prime vendor. The FSA shall be configurable and flexible, allowing customization to meet specific needs. All system products proposed shall be largely commercially available and use industry standard hardware, software, applications, and programming languages. All proprietary system components shall be identified. Contract Period: One (1) year
