Description | As of March 3, 2023 this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded next week For the East Spencer VUR Sewer Rehab Shaver Street project. As these are informal bids, there is no public reading or opening of bids or requirement of a 5% bid bond per NCGS 143-129 and 2 CFR 200.326 Description: The project includes approximately 130 LF of new 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer piping, one (1) new sanitary sewer manhole, and up to three (3) new sanitary sewer service laterals. Rehabilitation of one existing manhole is also included. All questions related to this bid shall be submitted in writing to jfitzgerald@withersravenel.com prior to 3:00pm local time on February 8, 2023 to receive consideration. Questions received after that time will not be answered or accepted. Bidders are responsible for ensuring receipt of their bid by the stated date and time. Bidders are responsible for the review of any addenda for the project and shall acknowledge the addenda on the bid form. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 consecutive calendar days after informal bid opening except as provided in Information for Bidders. Bidders must show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bid Documents as required by the North Carolina General Statutes Chapter 87. The Owner reserves the right to reject any/all bids, to waive formalities, or to reject non-conforming, nonresponsive, or conditional bids. The Owner reserves the right to award a contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder or bidders, taking into consideration quality, performance, and time. This project is a portion of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) earmarked funds administered by NC Division of Water Infrastructure.
