| Description | Aerial application of mosquito treatment is necessary for the upkeep of the Craney Island Dredged Material Management Area in Portsmouth Virginia. Line Item 001: Apply Bacillus thuringiensis (Bti) granular larvicide at the rate of 20 pounds per acre as directed by the Contracting Officer. (250 acre minimum for any one application with a maximum capacity of 1,250 acres). Line Item 002: Apply Bacillus thuringiensis (Bti) liquid larvicide at the rate of 2 pints per acre as directed by the Contracting Officer. (250 acre minimum for any one application with a maximum capacity of 1,500 acres). Line Item 003: Apply undiluted Naled (Trumpet EC) in ultra low volume dosage of 0.75 fluid ounces per acre as directed by the Contracting Officer. (3,300 acre minimum for any one application with a maximum capacity of 13,200 acres for a potential total of four individual 3,300 acre treatments). | ||
