Installation of Interior Doors, Exterior Doors, Keycard Access Control, Boilers, Exterior Fencing, and Driveway Repair and Expansion

The intent of this Bid request is to obtain an offer for Interior Doors, Exterior Doors, Keycard Access Control, Boilers, Exterior Fencing, and Driveway Repair and Expansion services at Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship, 2501 Main Street, Pittsburgh PA 15235. Interior Doors: 1. Remove and dispose of existing doors and hardware 2. Install prefinished doors 3. Install hardware for each door according to existing hardware. 4. Standard hardware for each door will include: a. Lever lockset b. Kick plate on each side (except the closet doors, they will have one). c. A wall-mounted door stop. d. A door-mounted floor stop. e. Hinges Exterior Doors: 1. Remove and dispose of existing doors and hardware 2. Install six (6) new aluminum clear anodized exterior doors as specified (owner will send upon request. Site inspection is strongly recommended). Access Control: 1. Remove and dispose of existing access control panels 2. Install new access control panel Replacement And Upgrade of Existing Boilers 1. Demo three cast-iron sectional 80% boilers located in two separate boiler rooms and dispose 2. Installation of new 90 percent or greater efficient boilers 3. Installation of new circulating pumps Exterior Fencing Repair/upgrade 1. Removing existing chainlink fence on facility grounds 2. Furnish and install 562 linear feet of chainlink fabric fencing a. 2” Mesh KK Chainlink b. 1 5/8 Standard weight top rail & bracing c. 3” x 11’ standard weight terminal posts d. 2 ½” x 11’ standard weight line posts e. 4” x 11’ standard weight line gate posts 2. Furnish and install 1-28’ wide aluminum cantilever gate with automatic gate operator Driveway repair/expansion (site visit and meeting with owner required) 1. Remove damaged areas of asphalt paving and hall off-site 2. Mill approximately 21,400 sf @ 2” depth and approximately 4,980 at 4 ½” deep 3. Expand the width of the existing driveway 4. Convert existing walking path into a new exit route to merge into the existing driveway a. Remove existing trees for access b. Add a walking path with a guardrail
