| Description | All bids over $10,000 shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid in the form of cash, a bid bond, or a certified check made payable to the Town of Freetown. Also, all work being performed requires 100% Performance Bond. In addition, where the contract amount is more than $25,000, a 50% payment bond shall be required in accordance with The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities in the bids, or to accept the bid deemed best for the Town. The Town further reserves the right to award one or more portions of the contract to more than one bidder.
