Description | As per the Owner all bids have been rejected. Editorial Content Team is actively seeking updated information. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the name and address of the bidder on the outside and the words "JACKIE ROBINSON TRAINING COMPLEX WALKING TRAIL" INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. IRC-1908 INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. 2023012 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The proposed project includes a 12' wide millings walking trail, two (2) asphalt driveway connections to the adjacent roadways (43rd Ave. and Aviation Blvd.), a milling asphalt access road connecting the two driveway aprons, resurfacing an existing parking lot, installation of a wooden/recyclable material bridge, and a new tree line along the west side of the parcel (adjacent to 43rd Ave.). All material and equipment furnished, and all work performed shall be in strict accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto. All bidders shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the Bid Proposal forms provided within the specifications. Please note that the questionnaire must be filled out completely including the financial statement. BID SECURITY must accompany each Bid, and must be in the form of an AIA Document A310 Bid Bond, properly executed by the Bidder and by a qualified surety, or a certified check or a cashier's check, drawn on any bank authorized to do business in the State of Florida. Bid Security must be in the sum of not less than Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Indian River County Board of County Commissioners. In the event the Contract is awarded to the Bidder, Bidder will enter in a Contract with the County and furnish the required 100% Public Construction Bond and certificates of insurance within the timeframe set by the County. If Bidder fails to do so, the Bid Security shall be retained by the County as liquidated damages and not as penalty. The County reserves the right to delay awarding of the Contract for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid opening, to waive informalities in any bid, or reject any or all bids in whole or in part with or without cause/or to accept the bid that, in its judgement, will serve the best interest of Indian River County, Florida. The County will not reimburse any Bidder for bid preparation costs |
