Description

The estimated costs of construction for the work outlined in the plans and specifications are: Base Bid – $2,315,000 Alternate 1 – $115,000 Alternate 2 – $165,000 The work for which bids are being accepted for the Base Bid consists of approximately 3,400 feet of street reconstruction which includes full-depth asphalt pavement construction, sidewalk replacement, curb and gutter replacement along with miscellaneous surface restoration items. The project also includes storm sewer improvements and the installation of a new traffic signal. Two alternate bids are included with the project. Alternate 1 includes the construction of approximately 13,500 square feet of a new asphalt shared use path. Alternate 2 includes approximately 11,000 square feet of additional sidewalk replacement.
