Description | Per addendum 1 bid date extended from 7/14/22 to 7/22/22 time and location remain the same. Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, services and equipment necessary to complete the "2 New Buildings, containing 4 units in each for the Middletown Housing Authority, Marino Manor Bids will include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, services and equipment necessary to complete the projects titled "2 New Buildings, containing 4 units in each for the Middletown Housing Authority, Marino Manor" for the Middletown Housing Authority. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for 100% Performance and Payment Bond or Bonds, in the forms included in the Specifications A satisfactory Bid Bond or Certified Check, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The Bid Bond shall be made payable to the Middletown Housing Authority and shall be properly executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties. All bonds must be from sureties registered in the State of Connecticut. This project requires compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity provisions of Executive Order 11246; Non-Discrimination Provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Prevailing Wage determinations as issued by the Connecticut Department of Labor; and other provisions outlined in the bid documents. Bids, to receive consideration, must be in the hands of the authorized representative no later than the day and hour mentioned above. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the opening of bids, without the consent of the above Owner.
