Description

The purpose of this solicitation is to procure the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the Baltimore City Health Department in accordance with the specifications and documents contained herein to perform services relating to the removal and disposal of animal (domestic & wild) carcasses from Baltimore City Health Department-Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS). This facility is located at 2490 Giles Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21225. The Contractor shall transport, cremate and dispose of animal carcasses for the Baltimore City Health Department in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Animal carcasses shall not be disposed of in a landfill in any other form other than ash and spent treatment material from an air pollution control system.
