Description | As of December 22, 2022, an engineer has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The DNR seeks to retain the services of a qualified engineer to develop plans for the following needs at Seven Lakes State Park: 1. A renovation/replacement of two shelters at Seven Lakes SP. The shelters are in poor condition and an engineer is needed to provide design services to either upgrade the existing shelters or provide design for new shelters. An evaluation and recommendation is needed by a design professional. 2. Targeted paving improvements will be developed throughout the park. The roads throughout the park are deteriorating, consisting of numerous potholes and cracking. Engineering plans are needed to address the current condition of the pavement. 3. Campground upgrades for the electrical system are needed. The campground electrical system is outdated and in need of upgrades to accommodate larger RV's, which represents a large portion of current users. Design Review Meetings to be held at 50% and 90% reviews for Phase 400 and Phase 500 and as the PSC deems necessary. Microsoft Teams meetings are acceptable. The PSC shall be responsible for running construction progress meetings twice a month for the duration of the project, including a Pre-Construction meeting. Please provide a probable cost estimate for the anticipated work Two weeks review time is anticipated for each submission No multiple substantial completions are anticipated at this time Depending on the project location, individuals may be required to wear masks to attend meetings and for a firm to be eligible to submit bids / quotations / proposals. Bring and be prepared to wear a mask if required upon arrival. Requirements may change at any time and any updated guidance must be followed.
