Description | Project Description This project consisting of new construction of 34 units of residential wood framed apartments housed within two separate multi-story buildings with the following details: 20 Amherst Road: New construction of a 6 unit apartment building, designed to meet Energy Star Total Building Gross Area: 8,554 SF 22 Amherst Road: New construction of a 28 unit apartment building, designed to meet Passive House Total Building Gross Area: 31,474 SF This is Western Builders job. We have been working on this project for a couple of years through preconstruction. Permitting from Pelham has been approved. The project has received financing approval through DHCD. This round of pricing will be used to close on the loan with DHCD. We are required to get 3 numbers in each trade. Construction is expected commence in August/September of 2023. This job does have MBE/WBE requirements. If you meet either certification, please let us know. You do not have to be an MBE or WBE to work on the project. If you are not an MBE or WBE, but are able to provide an MBE/WBE contribution through a supplier or subcontractor, please let us know about that and include the contribution and any added costs for that contribution. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The work, generally, includes, but is not limited to: Asbestos Abatement & Demolition existing building structures, CIP concrete slabs & foundation walls, Concrete Unit Masonry, Structural Steel Framing, Rough Carpentry, Gypcrete Underlayment, Shop-Fabricated Wood Trusses, Finish Carpentry, Bituminous Dampproofing, Building Insulation, Aerosol-Applied Sealant, Fiberglass Asphalt Shingles, Fiber-Cement Siding, Sheet Metal Flashing and Trim, Wood Doors, Fiberglass Doors and Frames, Door Hardware, Wood Windows, Fiberglass Windows, Gypsum Board Assemblies, Acoustical Ceiling Assemblies, Suspended Decorative Grids, Flooring, Painting, Signage, Toilet Accessories, Fire Protection Specialties, Postal Specialties, Exterior Shutters, Appliances, Manufactured Wood Casework & Countertops, Electric Traction Elevators, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, Siteworks, And Exterior Improvements. 3.1 SCHEDULE OF ALTERNATES Please note this project has an extensive list of alternates, so please download pdf file entitled 012300 Alternates in Plan Room to see full list of required alternates. 3.1 SCHEDULE OF UNIT PRICES A.
