Re-Advertisement of Maintenance Dredging and Channel Improvements for Spicers Creek, Cape Island Creek, Schellengers Creek, Devils Reach & Middle Thorofare Lagoon, Lower Township & City of Cape May, Cape May County, Contract No. 205202204; 100% State Funded, UPC No: 010309, PE No: 6110108, CE No: 5900342, DP No: 23702. Estimated Completion Date on 03/01/2023 Estimated Range for Information Purpose Only Range up to $5,000,000 SBE Goals for this Contract 1% Contractors Prequalified in one of these Work Types are eligible to bid this project: 40 or 43 Pursuant to N.j.s.a. 34:11-56.35(D), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (Lwd Commissioner) Makes an Initial Determination That an Employer Has Violated the Provisions of P.l.1963, C.150 (C.34:11-56.25 Et Seq.) by Paying Wages at Rates Less Than the Rates Applicable Under That Act, the Lwd Commissioner May Immediately Issue a Stop-work Order to Cease All Business Operations at Every Site Where the Violation Has Occurred, and May Assess a Civil Penalty of $5,000 Per Day Against the Employer for Each Day It Conducts Business Operations in Violation of the Stop-work Order. If the Stop-work Order Is Issued Against a Subcontractor, the General Contractor May Terminate That Subcontractor From the Project in Accordance With N.j.s.a. 34:11-56.35(D). Pursuant to N.j.s.a. 34:11-56.51, Contractors Must Be Registered With the New Jersey Department of Labor, Division of Wage and Hour Compliance at the Time of Bid. Minimum Wage Rates for This Project Shall Be as Specified in the "Prevailing Wage Determination of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development" on File With This Department. The Attention of Bidders Is Directed to the Provisions Covering Subletting or Assigning the Contract to Section 108-prosecution and Completion of the New Jersey Department of Transportation Standard Specifications. The Entire Work Is to Be Completed on or Before the Estimated Completion Date. Dot Reserves Its Right to Reject Any and/or All Bids in Accordance With N.j.s.a. 27:7-30 and N.j.s.a. 27:7-33 NJDOT - Call Order 702 - Maintenance Dredging and Channel Improvements *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
