Description

This project scope is Phase 4 of 5 for the lift station rehabilitation/replacement. It includes the design and construction of a new submersible lift station to supplement and work in tandem with the existing lift station to increase firm pumping capacity to 41.9 MGD (sizing to be confirmed during design phase). Selected consultant for Phase 4 shall provide a conceptual design report, preliminary design report, preliminary and final design deliverables, construction contract documents, and engineering services during construction. In addition, the selected consultant shall also provide a business case evaluation for the final Phase 5 Improvements as part of the design scope; or make a case for eliminating future Phase 5 improvements and recommend complete pump station replacement in Phase 4. The Haikey Creek Lift Station Evaluation Masterplan (RMUA Project No. ES 2009-11) was completed February 2012 and electronic copies will be made available upon request with a completed Receipt & Release form. the Loi/soq Submittal Will Be Evaluated on: Design Team Experience, Team Organization, and Resumes (25 Points) Firm Experience With Wastewater Pump Stations and Appurtenances, as Documented in the Tul 9280 (25 Points) Project Approach (35 Points) Work Performed Locally (10 Points) Verifiable References (5 Points) The response shall be limited to ten (10) single sided 8- 1/2 " x 11" pages including front cover and cover letter.
