Springfield Community Park Improvements

Project (A) Playground Equipment: Existing Playground equipment is to be removed and reinstalled in another location of the park. See attached drawing Equipment must be set into place with new concrete footers. Install new border around new location of the playground equipment. Use 2 x 12 treated lumber for border and add brown playground mulch to fill inside of bordered area at approximately 10” depth. Border design must include an ADA compliant ramp at a width of no less than 36” for wheelchair accessibility. Project (B) Perimeter Fencing around Convenience Site: Existing Chain link fence will remain in place. Install new treated 4x4 posts. Install 3 rows of treated 2x4 framing. All posts shall be set in concrete. Install new 8’ corrugated metal panels. Metal tops and sides shall include J-Trim and Corner Trim. Project (C) Perimeter Fencing Front and Side of Property: Remove existing 4’ chain link fence. Posts will remain. Install 450’ of new top rail and chain link at the front of the property. Install 70’ of new chain link fence to tie into existing chain link fence on the front side of the property that connects to the collection site. Install (3) new ADA compliant 4’ walk gates. Install (1) new 10’ drive thru gate.
