Pedestrian and Traffic Improvements at the Park Avenue and Essex Street Intersection. to perform asphalt paving, curbing, cement concrete sidewalk, pedestrian curb ramps, and driveways, signage and pavement markings, and minor drainage modification. The work under this Contract consists of furnishing all necessary labor, materials and equipment required to provide pedestrian and traffic safety improvements along Park Avenue and at the intersection of Park Avenue and Essex Street. The work also includes reconstruction of existing cement concrete sidewalks, driveways, and curb ramps along the northern side of Park Avenue between Washington Street and Essex Street. The work includes removal and resetting of granite curb, installation of new granite curb, reconstruction and construction of new cement concrete sidewalk, driveway, and curb ramps, roadway full depth pavement reconstruction, mill and overlay, installation of signs and pavement markings, minor drainage modification work, and other miscellaneous items of work required to complete the project and as shown on the plans and described herein.
