Description | The City of Downey's existing traffic signal system consists of the City's traffic signals and their local controllers (Type 170 and 2070) and communication network auxiliary traffic control equipment. December 13, 2022 The term of this Agreement shall be from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2025, unless earlier terminated as provided herein. Contractor shall complete the Services within the term of this Agreement, and shall meet any other established schedules and deadlines. The term of this Agreement may be extended by the City Manager for up to three (3) consecutive years after the initial contract period in one (1) year increments at the discretion and approval of the City. The City shall notify Contractor in writing of the intent to extend this agreement by October 1st of the current contract year. The proposed three (3) one-year contract renewal periods are: January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025, January 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026 and January 1, 2027 - December 31, 2027. On October 1, 2027, the City may repeat the Request for Proposals (RFP) process. Contractor shall complete the Services within the term of this Agreement, and shall meet any other established schedules and deadlines. The term of this Agreement may be extended by written amendment to this Agreement signed by the City Manager and the Contractor.
