Description | Cambridge Housing Authority, in its capacity as managing member, acting on behalf of CHA RAD Properties LLC, the Owner and Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for Exterior Repairs at 12-18 Hingham Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by DREAM Collaborative. The project consists of: Window & Roof Replacement, selective siding replacement, exterior and interior painting and site improvements at a four-unit residential building. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work: General Building Construction and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and a signed Update Statement (CQ3) Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified for the trades listed below and bidders must include a current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Sub-Bidder's Update Statement All bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by the Secretary of Labor pursuant to the Davis-Bacon Act and included in the project specifications. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount, and made payable to CHA RAD PROPERTIES LLC. A 100% payment bond and a 100% performance bond will be required for the awarded contract. No interpretations of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other pre-bid documents shall be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation must be in writing. Questions concerning this project shall be submitted via email to jvatelia@dreamcollaborative.com. Deadline for General Bidder questions shall be Monday July 25, 2022 at 12:00PM. Questions received after the above deadlines may not be considered by the Awarding Authority. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding if it is in the public interest to do so. The Awarding Authority also reserves the right to reject the bids if less than three bids are received. |
