As-Needs Health Science Building Elevator Service

Laramie County Community College is soliciting a Request for Qualification (RFQ) to provide, on a scheduled basis and under general supervision, perform semi-skilled and skilled tasks, categorized as elevator pro-active preventative maintenance on a quarterly basis, inspections and repairs for the Otis Elevator (Model: ABA21241U) located at our Prentice/Surbrugg Health Sciences building. Including: 1. Elevator repair and maintenance, pressure relief tests, yearly leakage tests, to include all necessary labor, operations, accessories, incidentals, equipment, tools, shipping, materials and other work and/or services required to complete the respective individual scope of work for elevator repair. 2. Specific work shall include, but not be limited to, preventative maintenance services as noted in the table below, repair and maintenance of elevators. 3. Additional services include: 24-hour answering service and/or callout dispatching as needed. Must be able to respond within three hours to the campus for emergency situations. Contractor must be Wyoming licensed, authorized to repair elevators in the Cheyenne, WY area, and insured. Provide a copy of current license with response. Contract Term is for up to five (5) years. Bidders are expected to maintain costs bid above for the first three (3) years of the contract; Contractor may then propose an increase for the remaining two (2) years. Bidders are requested to provide 2023-2024 rate sheet(s) for Elevator repair for the first three (3) years, which includes, but is not limited to: Hourly rates (broken down by type of work or type of employee), Overtime, Holiday/Weekend rate, Trip charge, Material percentage mark up, and Any other charges (provide cost and description) All questions must be submitted to electronically.
