This work includes demolition of the existing single-ply membrane roofs and insulation down to the metal deck and replacing with a 2-ply modified bitumen roof system with new insulation. Penetrations and parapets will be re-flashed and the prefinished metal parapet cap will be replaced with new. The area to receive new roofing is approximately 10,400 square feet for Building 26 and 3,100 square feet for Building 32. All work shall be performed in accordance with the contract specifications, manufacturer's recommendations, and applicable building codes. This contract will be Firm-Fixed Price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238160 - Roofing Contractors and the size standard is $16,500,000.00. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only.
