Water Heater Enhancement Clinton County Correctional Facility

The Clinton County Commissioners are accepting sealed bids for an additional water heater at the Correctional Facility located at 58 Pine Mountain Road McElhattan, PA 17748. The successful bidder will have 30 days from the date of contract award to complete the project. Prevailing wage may apply. Background check clearance will be required for all workers entering the facility. CCCF needs a second water heater to aid the existing system. The new system must be tied into the current system and have a new exhaust installed through the roof. The current system is a Bradford White D-80T-505-3NA. The new system will mirror this model The contractor is to furnish labor, materials and equipment required to completely install the system indicated. The contractor is to carefully examine the site and specifications and include labor and equipment necessary to perform, but not necessarily limited to, the following work: 1. Furnish and install one (1) new, high efficiency, natural gas fired hot water heater, piping, expansion tank, valves, insulation, vents, controls, etc. 2. Tie newly installed equipment with the existing water heater. 3. Install a new exhaust vent through the ceiling/roof. 4. Seal exhaust vent through rubber roof. Contact current warranty holder. 5. Furnish and install new natural gas piping for new gas fired water heater. Bid proposals shall include: Itemized cost proposal for all work necessary to complete the project 10% Bid bond Warranty Company qualifications and experience (references optional) The Commissioners reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularity in the bids and in the bidding process.
