RFQ Design - Tidwell Park Aquatics Facility (PAS)

Tidwell Park Aquatics Facility Design, engineering, and construction administration services for a heated, minimum 100,000 gallon leisure pool with swim lanes and water slide; a minimum 20,000 square foot LEED certified facility with roll up doors for open-air environment when weather permits; HVAC system to supplement heating and cooling when necessary; a building with offices, restrooms, showers, mechanical rooms, chemical room and storage; detention, signage, electrical and plumbing, demolition and tree protection fencing, general site grading, storm drainage/detention, and water line. This solicitation is open to Architects, Engineers, and Landscape Architects with similar aquatics facilities experience as a prime consultant as outlined in this advertisement. This procurement is subject to "Hire Houston First" as set out in Chapter 15, Article XI, City Code. It is unlawful for any Contractor to contribute or offer any contribution to a candidate for City elective office during a certain period prior to and following a contract award. (Chapter 18, City Code). Contractor will be required to comply with Anti-discrimination provisions (Chapter 15, Article II, City Code), Pay or Play Program (Executive Order 1-7 and Ordinance 2007-0534), and the Minority, Women, Persons with Disabilities and Small Business Enterprise requirements (Chapter 15, Articles V and VI, City Code and Executive Order 1-2)
