Electrical Distribution Upgrade

Construct a modern, self-healing 15kV Power Distribution system, to serve main campus for the next 40 years, in fidelity with the electrical distribution master plan, using robust processes to ensure human safety and system quality with minimized campus impact. This project will provide a complete upgrade for the 15kV electrical distribution system for main (Central and North) campus. The project includes 5 miles of duct bank trenching, 54 new pad mounted switches, over 100 building transformer tie-ins, and 11 building replacement transformers. The project will be bid out in 5 packages as listed below: 1. Early Packages – SCADA Integration and Substation Electrical (Bid Date 9/14/21 – Prequal Due 8/31/21) 2. Electrical Distribution Package 1 (Anticipated Bid Date 10/15/21) 3. Electrical Distribution Package 2 (Anticipated Bid Date 3/23/22 – Bid Packages TBD) 4. Electrical Distribution Package 3 (Anticipated Bid Date 9/7/22 – Bid Packages TBD) 5. Electrical Distribution Package 4 (Anticipated Bid Date 4/4/23 – Bid Packages TBD)
