BCEC Main Gym and Auxiliary Gym Floor Refinishing

1. Main Gym dimensions are 109 feet x 119 feet or 12,971 square feet 2. Auxiliary Gym dimensions are 114 feet x 119 feet or 13,566 square feet 3. Work to start tentatively on July 5th, 2022, (start date is flexible) and completion by July 29, 2022 4. Gym floor designs attached to bid posting on VSS. Bank of Colorado Logo will be as shown. The sizes of the lettering, the logos, and the “N” in the middle of gym floor to be determined. 5. Sand floors down using whatever grits necessary, finishing with a 120 grit sand paper, screening with 100 grit to make the appearance of a glass floor. 6. Polyurethane Wood Seal to be used is MARC 258 and Full Court Finish PC to be used is MARC 289 7. Application of two coats of sealer 8. Application of two coats of finish 9. Application of ALL court lines required by NCAA standards using Hillyard gym line paint 10. Main Gym – Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Women’s Volleyball lines painted per NCAA Standards 11. Main Gym – North and South under bleachers to include basketball lines painted as well 12. Auxiliary Gym – Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Women’s Volleyball lines painted per NCAA Standards 13. Auxiliary Gym – Tennis and Pickle Ball lines painted as well 14. Option to stain using water pop maple to allow wood to accept the stain evenly, dura seal stain of our choice 15. Option to st ain the perimeter of main gym floor with Northeastern stenci led “N” in center of floor and logos on side 16. Stencil work with stencil to be laid on floor and paint by number process used, pre-approved design 17. Polyurethane Wood Seal, dries to a clear transparent film that will not discolor the floor to be applied with lamb’s wool applicator
