Description

Procurement of ecological restoration along a portion of Fearing Brook adjacent to the confluence with the Fort River in Amherst, Massachusetts. The restoration of this area involves creation of a floodplain on the south bank of the brook that will be achieved by lowering and revegetating the bank along approximately 460 linear feet upstream of the Fort River confluence. The proposed work also entails the construction of a stormwater management feature within the northern riverfront area, on the Fort River School property.
