Description

The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: demolition and renovation of a military facility. As of July 11, 2023, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. The work includes: 1. Demolition, a. Demolish the training structure., b. Remove concrete pads, flooring and footings, c. Remove all electrical, rubber and concrete materials, d. Dispose of all construction materials and debris from the site, i. Concrete, ballistic rubber blocks, steel parts, conduit, electrical wiring etc. 2. Site restoration, a. Fill, level and grade the area identified in the limits of disturbance shown in the site plan approximately 5 acres. (May be adjusted due to current site conditions), i. The intent is to provide usable training space for artillery and rotary wing operations that were changed due to the construction of the ship on land structure. b. Final grading shall provide adequate drainage to sheet flow water off the site and prevent ponding/standing water. c. Soil stabilization and seeding Only General MACC Contractors listed on the General Requirements cover page may submit a proposal for this ROICC Camp Lejeune area of responsibility project. See attached documents for scope of work and any applicable drawings. NAVFAC Solicitation No.: N40085-23-R-2813 Public Works Project No.: 23-0702 Title: TLZ Oriole/GP33 Ship on Land Demo Contract Completion Date: 360 days after award Estimated Cost Range: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 Wage Determination: General Decision Number: NC20230038 04/21/2023 Liquidated Damages: $880 per Calendar Day Notes: One person may fill the roles of Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, and Safety & Health Officer, if duly qualified for all three positions as defined in the project specification. Special Scheduling: The facility/activity will not remain in operation during the entire construction period. The contractor shall have unfettered access to the work area for the contract duration. Basis for Award: Lowest Price Proposal Acceptance Period: 60 Days from receipt of offers. Site Visit: July 13, 2023 Meet at 1005 Michael Rd. at 8:00am. Bond Requirements: Bid bonds are required in accordance with FAR 53.301-24. An electronic copy of your bid bond may be submitted with your proposal.
