| Description | All cast iron fittings shall conform to AWWA C110/A21.10-12, and/or AWWA C153/A21.53-19, or latest revision thereto, 2-inch to 48-inch, for 250 psi water pressure plus water hammer. Fittings larger than 12-inch shall be Class 150. All fittings except plugs and sleeves shall be cement lined to conform to AWWA C104/A21.4-08 or latest revision thereto, with a bituminous seal coat or shall be coated with fusion bonded epoxy coating of 6 mils. Approved epoxy coatings are: 3M #303, Indurall #3300, Mueller HP, P & L Vitralon #88-983, Keysite 740, Rust-Oleum 9500, Al-Clad 0278, Polymer Corporation Corvel 531-6088, Scotchkote 206N, Tnemec Company Series 20 Pota-Pox (two-part), or other epoxy coating approved by Pueblo Water. Sleeves and plugs shall be seal coated. |
