Lift and Tower Spans Miscellaneous Repairs

The work to be performed under this Contract includes furnishing of labor, tools, equipment, temporary support structures, and materials for the Lift and Tower Spans Miscellaneous Repairs for the Burlington-Bristol Project Bridge. The Lift and Tower Spans Miscellaneous Repairs includes a mid-span Maintenance Walk Bump Out approximately 106 feet long consisting of removals and installing BCBC provided structural steel and grating and providing and installing a precast concrete walkway. The project also includes the Miscellaneous Repairs consisting of removals and providing and installing structural steel and performing repairs on floorbeams, crossbeams, and stringers and other associated items as well as all other work of any type or description necessary for the project, whether or not specifically described in the contract documents. As necessary, the Contractor shall provide for Maintenance & Protection of Traffic while work is being performed as required by the Engineer. The Contractor is required to coordinate with the Engineer all temporary bridge and lane closures for the approval by the Commission.
