Description | For Purchase and Installation of Permanent Modular Buildings. Folsom Cordova Unified School District ("District") invites bids from firms, partnerships, corporations, associations, persons, or professional organizations to submit a bid to the District manufacture and install modular buildings ("Project"). Questions regarding the plans and specifications or this Request for Bids must be directed to Chris Anicich at canicich@fcusd.org not later than November 22, 2022. Theodore Judah ES / Cordova Villa ES: 1. 2-classroom modular building based off a 40' module PC 2. Concrete stem wall, building set to grade including footings excavation. 3. Polyvents and crawl space access shall be the manufacturer's responsibility. 4. The exterior finish shall be lath and plaster with acrylic finish coat. 5. Dual Slope Metal Roof with 5' overhangs at the front and rear of the building, and 1'-6" overhangs at gable ends. 6. Roof Top Mounted HVAC Units. (RTU's) 7. All interior finishes to be provided by the manufacturer to District standard products, including casework, flooring and wall finishes 8. A current approved PC drawing set must be available to the District's design team no later than 1/1/2023 9. Manufacturer must deliver the buildings (1 per site) to the job site no later than 6/1/2023 and install the buildings no later than 6/30/2023. Bidders who cannot meet this timeline will be deemed non-responsive. All proposers are required to read and completely familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions of the Bid, and to submit all necessary paperwork as required of proposer as specified in the Bid. The District reserves the right to postpone the opening of bids, accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in any bid, all as District deems to be in its own best interests. This is a public works project and is subject to prevailing wage requirements and the successful proposer, and each of its subcontractors, shall be required to comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. A payment bond is required for this project. Wage rates can be obtained from the District by request. All proposers, and all subcontractors listed in any proposal, must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to California Labor Code section 1725.5. The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. Any clarifications resulting from questions will be distributed to all firms participating in this opportunity who have received a copy of the Bid documents. Questions received after 1:00 p.m. on November 22, 2022. will NOT be addressed. |
