All proposals (bids) are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The Borough reserves the right to waive any minor informalities, irregularities or defects in the bid; or to reject any or all bids. The successful Bidder must comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. All Bidders are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with 67 PA Code Chapter 457, legaRegulations Governing Pre-qualification of Prospective Bidders and PennDOT Form 408/2020, as supplemented and amended, Section 102. Subcontractors must pre-qualify in the same manner, if listed in the proposal or if Bidder subsequently undertakes the partial or total construction of one or more items of work. All Bidders and Subcontractors must be PennDOT pre-qualified. Contractor must perform all work to completion within 60 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed
