Ogden Riverbank Erosion EWP Project

This Project is for the streambank repair and stabilization for five (5) sites along the Ogden and Weber Rivers, known as the Ogden Riverbank Erosion EWP Project (Project). The purpose of the Project is to: 1. Stabilize the bank and remove debris at Site 1. 2. Stabilize the bank and add engineered riffles for grade control at the Marriott Diversion (Site 2). 3. Stabilize the bank and replace the culvert headwall at the 21st Street Outfall (Site 3). 4. Stabilize the bank at Site 4. 5. Stabilize the bank and relocate the Weber River Parkway Trail at Site 5. The primary construction tasks associated with the Project include bank grading; installing boulder bank toe armor; incorporating bioengineering methods such as root wads, live willow staking and native vegetation; implementing scour countermeasures in the form of rock barbs and J-Hooks; demolition and replacement of an existing culvert headwall structure; and relocation of a portion of the Weber River Parkway Trail.

Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities, Culverts, Concrete Culverts, Ponds and Reservoirs.
Division 35 -	Waterway and Marine Construction, Shoreline Protection, Waterway Construction and Equipment.
