Operations Office HVAC Replacement Project

**As of December 02,2022, bids received were rejected due to over the budget. Project will rebid but no definite date yet.** The Housing Authority of Clackamas County (HACC) will receive bids for Operations Office HVAC Replacement, Project at Public Housing, a prevailing wage project Brief Work Description: Remove and replace existing split head HVAC system in the operations/community center building. A certified check or bank draft, payable to Housing Authority of Clackamas County, U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A separate performance and payment bond in a penal sum of 100 percent of the contract price is required from the selected Bidder prior to the execution of the contract. See HUD-Form 5369 Instructions to Bidders for details. Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity, economic opportunities for low and very low income persons, and payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the specifications on this project. As permitted by state law and required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development: a. Retainage is 10 percent, not 5 percent. b. Interest will not accrue on retainage, and c. Bonds or securities may not be substituted as an alternate form of retainage. Questions submittal deadline shall be November 22, 2022 @ 2:00pm. The Housing Authority of Clackamas County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. All requests for substitution shall be received 5 days prior to bid due date. There will be no exceptions. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority of Clackamas County.
