Description

HOUSING UNITS: HOUSING UNITS: Installation for two 2-inch sweat on ball vales or two 2-inch Pro-Press or equivalent (as determined by the County) ball valves on cold and tempered water lines in the attic at each of the twenty-two (22) plumbing chase drops for a total of forty-four valves at these locations. - Vendor shall also quote to provide and install five 1-inch Pro-Press or equivalent (as determined by the County) ball valves inside the plumbing chase for four toilets and sink manifolds. This covers pods: A-100,200,300, B-200,300, C-200,300, D-100 and D-200, - For pods C-100 and D-300 each will have two 2-inch sweat on ball valves for cold and tempered water lines, six 1-inch Pro-Press or equivalent (as determined by the County) ball valves for toilets and one- 1-inch Pro-Press or equivalent (as determined by the County) ball valve for the sinks and showers - Pod B-100 will have two 1-inch \sweat on ball valves in attic and six 1-inch Pro-Press or equivalent (as determined by the County) ball valves for toilets, sinks and showers, - 8 and 3/4 inch sweat on ball valves will need to be installed in the eight corner plumbing chases for showers only - If any pipe is noticed to be damaged or leaking while working inside the attic or plumbing chases it is to be replaced while working in the area at the time the issue is discovered - Vendor to also quote to provide and install a 2-inch drain off the main supply lines for draining system as needed. Drain shall penetrate stem wall at attic closest to back of jail and run down the wall with turn out at the end and splash block. This will be the first item to be done so it will speed up draining of the system. BOOKING CELLS: Vendor shall quote to provide and install seven 2-inch sweat on or Pro-Press or equivalent (as determined by the County) ball valves, two 1 and 1/2-inch sweat on or Pro-Press or equivalent (as determined by the County) ball valves and five 3/4-inch sweat on or Pro-Press or equivalent (as determined by the County) ball valves in the attic. And install ten 1-inch Pro-Press or equivalent (as determined by the County) ball valves for toilets and one 3/4-inch Pro-Press or equivalent (as determined by the County) ball valves for sinks inside the plumbing chases. If any pipe is noticed to be damaged or leaking while working inside the plumbing chases it is to be replaced while working in the area at the time the issue is discovered. Please quote both options for attic area valves (Pro-Press or equivalent (as determined by the County) versus sweat on), ADMIN AREA: Vendor shall quote to provide and install one 2-inch ball valve, four 1 and 1/2-inch ball valves, three 1-inch ball valves, one 3/4-inch ball valve and seven half-inch ball valves in the attic area. Pro-Press or equivalent (as determined by the County) valves will be used in the admin area above the drop ceilings, Vendor shall provide in their proposal the estimated time to complete each section, starting with the housing attic first (before moving to the plumbing chases), so arrangements can be made by the staff for down time in the pods, and Vendor understands that this is an occupied facility and the water will need to be turned back on at the end of each day, before the job site closes at 5pm, to ensure there are no leaks at fittings and so that maintenance can check for proper operation of fixtures. - Vendor shall also quote to provide and install five 1-inch Pro-Press or equivalent (as determined by the County) ball valves inside the plumbing chase for four toilets and sink manifolds.
