The estimated project budget is $350-$400,000. Sealed bids are invited by the Board of Education, LaSalle-Peru Township High School District No. 120, LaSalle, LaSalle County, Illinois, for Nurses Office Renovation, Main Academic Building, in accordance with Bidding Documents prepared by Kmetz Architects, Inc., 111 Bucklin Street, LaSalle, Illinois. CONTRACT TYPE: 1. Project will be constructed under one (1) lump-sum contract. The Owner and Architect will be represented and will discuss and provide information relevant to Project conditions and the Bidding Contract Documents. Prime Bidders, prospective Subcontractors, and Material Suppliers are invited to attend. E. STIPULATIONS: 1. Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid amount proposed, must accompany bids. 2. Selected Bidder will be required to provide satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds covering the full performance of the Contract. 3. Selected Bidder must assure that all persons employed by Bidder, and all applicants for such employment, will not be discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex or national origin. 4. All laborers, mechanics and other workmen employed on this project shall be paid no less than the prevailing hourly wage rate determined by the Illinois Department of Labor. 5. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularities in the Bidding, and to award a contract in their own best interests. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
