Description | The Project includes a wide array of water system improvement projects located throughout the District that include the following Work: Construction of concrete water tanks, four new booster stations, well facility, water system retrofits, and other miscellaneous water system improvements. Work also includes water lines, site work, buildings, controls/communications, and restoration associated with the improvements. Electrical and Controls, Water Transmission Pipelines, Construction, Removal and Replacement of pipe, Water Storage Tank, Elevated - Ground Storage Tanks, Masonry Construction & Restoration, Water and Wastewater Facilities, Pumps or Pump stations, Grubbing & Clearing, Waterlines The major project elements for the Water Improvements construction project are listed below. This list is not all inclusive, and does not relieve the Contractor of the requirements of the Plans and Specifications: 1. Civil Site Work a. Earthwork excavation for new structures. b. Placement of all backfill including native and imported materials. c. Yard piping including new water line, fire hydrants, and other utilities as shown on the drawings. d. Final grading for roadways, buildings (slab-on-grade) and tanks. 2. Crossport Well a. Building addition, stick built b. New well pump and associated mechanical piping c. Flow meters and valves. d. Plumbing e. All electrical items including, lighting, control panels, outlets, motor control centers, and related accessories. 1) New Generator 3. Parker Canyon Tanks and Booster a. New partially buried concrete water storage tank b. New booster station building c. Yard piping, including fittings and valves d. New booster station pumps, and associated mechanical piping, including flow meters, valves, and fittings. . Plumbing f. Abandon existing booster station upon completion of the above improvements g. All electrical including lights, raceways, wiring, control panels, standby generator, motor control center, SCADA system and all accessories. 4. Highland Flats Booster a. New booster station building b. Yard piping, including fittings and valves c. New booster station pumps, and associated mechanical piping, including flow meters, valves, and fittings. d. Plumbing e. All electrical including lights, raceways, wiring, control panels, standby generator, motor control center, SCADA system and all accessories. 5. Highland Flats Tank a. Gravel Access Road Improvements b. Water main and valving c. Circular, partially buried concrete tank d. Site Civil Improvement 6. Black Mountain Tank and Booster Station a. Installation of two new pumps, and a new flow meter b. Removal of an existing pump c. Concrete Tank crack repairs 7. Mountain Meadows Booster Station a. New booster station building b. Yard piping, including fittings and valves c. New booster station pumps, and associated mechanical piping, including flow meters, valves, and fittings. d. Plumbing e. All electrical including lights, raceways, wiring, control panels, standby generator, motor control center, SCADA system and all accessories. 8. Kootenai Trail Booster Station a. New booster station building b. Yard piping, including fittings and valves c. New booster station pumps, and associated mechanical piping, including flow meters, valves, and fittings. d. Plumbing e. All electrical including lights, raceways, wiring, control panels, standby generator, motor control center, SCADA system and all accessories. 9. Pleasant Valley Pressure Relief Valve Station a. Installation of new pressure relief valve b. Electrical improvements, including connection of station to the grid |
