Description | This project is for installation and repair of fire doors, building 100 rooms GC-01 and GC-02, at James J. Peters VA Medical Center. 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx NY 10468. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, supplies, equipment, personnel and supervision to accomplish this project in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor is responsible for coordinating and scheduling work to minimize to short duration and shall be expected to plan work in accordance to the scope of work stated in the statement of work. Work shall comply with Veterans Affairs specifications and regulations, all applicable Federal, State and Local Codes, including specific regulations related to working at James J Peter VAMC. Magnitude of Construction is less than $25,000. This is a Small Business (SB) set aside procurement. All prospective offerors must be registered in SAM (www.sam.gov) under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 561210, and Duns & Bradstreet (www.DNB.com). Offerors must submit the annual Vets-4212 Report. The NAICS is 561210 & Business Size is $41.5 Million. Completion Time is Twenty-Two (22) calendar days from the award date. A pre-offer site visit is scheduled for October 26, 2022 at 10:00 am E.T. Prospective offerors shall meet at James J. Peters VAMC, 130 West Kingsbridge Rd, Engineering room GC100, Bronx, NY 10468. NO OTHER SITE VISITS WILL BE ALLOWED. INTERESTED VENDORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND. To preserve the integrity of the procurement process, all questions and request for information must be submitted in writing to Delfo Saco-mizhquiri, Contracting Officer, via email at Delfo.Saco-mizhquiri@va.gov. Questions must be received no later than October 27, 2022 by 4:00pm EST. EVALUATION OF OFFERS AND BASIS FOR AWARD: The Government may conduct comparative evaluation of proposals and will award a single contract from this solicitation. Evaluation of Offers & Basis for Award will be in accordance with FAR 13.106 with appropriate consideration given to the following evaluation factors: (1) EXPEREINCE: Contractors shall submit an offer demonstrating at least 1 year experience in repair and maintenance of fire doors, comparable size, complexity and scope of work. Relevant experience is experience that took place in similar buildings structures and equipment. (2) PAST PERFORMANCE: Offerors shall provide at least two projects completed of similar in scope to this requirement. Also, the Government may retrieve information from the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS). (3) PRICE: Offeror shall submit an itemized description of cost, including a breakdown of labor and material. The Government reserves the right to make award without discussions.
