Pine Street 48-Inch Raw Water Line

Project was awarded to ALLCO, LLC in the amount of $20,228,977.98 Furnishing all plans, administration, superintendence, labor, services, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation, utilities, and all other items and facilities necessary therefore, as provided in the Contract Documents for the construction of: CITY OF BEAUMONT PINE STREET 48-INCH RAW WATER LINE BID NO. WU1023-01 together with all appurtenances thereto, being improvements for the City of Beaumont, Owner, Beaumont, Texas. Bids will be opened and publicly read in the Council Chambers at City Hall. The City reserves the right, after opening Bids, to reject any or all bids or to make award to accept any bid or combination of bids deemed advantageous to it. This project is funded in part by CDBG-DR Contract # 20-065-144-C843. Bidders must submit Bid Bond, Cashier's Check, Certified Check or irrevocable Letter of Credit issued by a bank satisfactory to the Owner, payable without recourse to the order of the City of Beaumont in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the largest possible bid amount as a guaranty that the Bidder will enter into contract and execute bond and guaranty in the form provided within fourteen (14) calendar days after date of Notice of Award of the contract. Bids without required financial security deposit will not be considered. Prevailing Highway-Heavy, Municipal and Utilities wage rates for Jefferson County, published as part of the Contract Documents and subject to revisions, shall govern or control minimum rates for work performed during execution of the contract. Also, qualifications being equal, citizens of the City of Beaumont shall be given preference in employment for work performed under the contract. Prior to the pre-bid conference, interested bidders should obtain forms of proposal, contract, bond, and specifications. Bidding documents may be obtained from the City portal. The deadline to ask questions is 03/30/2023 at 12:00 PM CT Engineers Estimate is $16.4 Million The project will consist of all associated work to install approximately 15,114 linear feet of 48-inch water line and 1,005 linear feet of 42-inch water line along the Pine Street ROW from Colliers Trail to Marina Street. The water line will include air valves, blow-off valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, road crossings, asphalt pavement replacement, traffic control, connections at two locations, a pig retrieval station, and cathodic protection.
