Description The intent of this project is to repair the failing building roof, basement retaining wall, secondary electrical systems, 1st floor roof exhaust fan system, various chilled water, hot water and sump pumps throughout the facility, and the architectural, electrical, and mechanical systems in the first floor area (1M and 1N) and second floor area (2A) plus the resulting demolition and hazardous material abatement must be done in conjunction with this repair work to such a condition that it may be effectively used for its designated functional purpose. The contractor shall determine the temporary construction required to separate the construction zones from other surrounding clinical and administrative spaces. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to safely complete the repair and renewal activities in accordance with the provisions of the Division 1 Specifications of the basic contract. The work is intended to improve the environment of care, provide compliance with regulations/standards, and meet the safety requirements of current health standards. To facilitate this renovation, the Contractor shall: conduct a Site Investigation and Site Investigation Report, conduct a Hazardous Material Survey and a Hazardous Material Survey Report, produce a Work Plans for both a transition facility (if applicable) and the renewal area, and provide MRR Action.
