Cargo Door, Fire Door, and Dock Equipment Maintenance Services

All tasks outlined in this PWS shall be performed by a qualified person with knowledge and understanding of the operating components of each equipment type listed throughout this document. 1.3.1. Contractor shall perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all cargo doors and rollup security grills throughout Tobyhanna Army Depot on an “as needed” basis. There are approximately 450 cargo doors and 35 security curtains on TYAD. 1.3.2. Contractor shall perform annual preventative maintenance, inspection, testing, and repairs of all fire doors (horizontal sliding and roll up) in accordance with the most current NFPA 80 Standard. There are 82 rollup fire doors and 137 horizontally sliding fire doors. 1.3.3. Contractor shall perform preventative maintenance and repairs on one “Erect-A-Tube” Electric Bi-fold Hangar Door. 1.3.4. Contractor shall perform repairs as needed and preventative maintenance and inspection for all dock equipment at a minimum of once every 180 days. There are currently 22 dock levelers, 19 truck restraints, 31 dock shelters and 53 loading docks with dock bumpers.
